Description from Facebook: Hip-Hop Stands Up is a BIPOC-lead coalition of artists who formed out of the tear gas of the protests following the death of George Floyd.

Description of Hip Hop Stands Up 4th of July event from Facebook:
Our Hip Hop community has a strong voice and alliance! Please join us at for a Hip Hop community gathering to support the movement #blacklivesmatter
We will include speakers from the BIPOC community and conscious musical performances.
Introducing POLITICAL EDUCATION before each show!
We will be serving food to the community before the political education portion of the show at 7PM
We will also be collecting items to assemble care packages for the houseless community.
