Week 1 Featured Event: Brentwood-Darlington Community Peaceful Protests

Happening nightly at the intersection of SE 72nd Ave and SE Flavel St:

Event Description from Facebook: Please join us EVERY NIGHT at the corner of SE 72nd and SE Flavel St to show support and solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Please stand with our community against police brutality, to affirm that black lives matter, and to deny white supremacy.

Please wear a mask and practice social distancing by spreading out along all 4 corners of the intersection. Bring signs if you can.

Event Description from Facebook: Rally starts at Woodmere School, followed by a March to join Brentwood Darlington Community Members at SE 72nd and Flavel (see above).

SE Car Caravan Protest happening Wednesdays and Fridays:

Event Description from Facebook: PORTLAND: have you wanted to take part in protesting injustice but have been unable to take to the streets because you have personal needs, or health issues that make it hard for you to stand, walk, or be around crowds?
CONSIDER JOINING CAR CARAVAN PROTESTS!!!
Every Wednesday and Friday Starting June 10th, meet at PCC Cascades parking lot behind the student center.
Bring signs and flags. Caravan leaves at 6:30pm
