- Recycle electronics, tires, medical sharps, medical devices and equipment, household batteries, and CFL bulbs
- Leave with seeds and plants
- Tune up your bike
- Learn about solar power, re-use and repair, and other ways to keep our planet, our neighborhood and our homes green and resilient!
Donations- not required and gratefully accepted:
- Electronics – $5 per item, $10 per bike-load, $40 per car-load, $50 per truck, van or trailer-load
- Bike tune-up – $5
- Tires – $5 per tire
- Donations are accepted to benefit Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood Association and to keep this event happening.

Portland Fruit Tree Project will be with us talking about how to get more fruit trees into your garden.

Portland Parks & Recreation’s Produce for People (PFP) program, which sprouted in 1995 to combat Portland’s high poverty rate, is a grassroots effort in which community gardeners turn their ability to produce food into an opportunity to fulfill the needs of the hungry. In concert with hunger relief agencies, the program seeks to provide Portland’s emergency food shelters with fresh, nutritious, organic, locally grown food.
Brentwood-Darlington Community Gardens will be hosting a free seed and plant swap!
Portland Community Gardens have provided Portlanders with opportunities for improved physical and social well-being since 1975. There are 60 PP&R Community Gardens located throughout Portland, developed and operated by volunteers and Bureau staff, and offering a variety of activities.

Brentwood-Darlington’s Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) will provide useful information and supplies for emergency preparation, as well as info about our neighborhood’s NET and the BEECN (Basic Earthquake Emergency Communication Nodes) program.

Spring Green History
Spring Green was started in 2019 by Tina Biornstad-Szafranski, neighborhood activist and guardian of all things green.
