Tomorrow, August 28th, is the Portland Public Schools (PPS) Community Care Day for 2021 from 9AM-12PM! Support our three Brentwood-Darlington Schools by joining of the events happening. Neighbors of all ages and abilities are welcome! Please see below for notes from each of our local schools.

Lane Middle School: We will have a variety of outdoor tasks needing attention, with a focus on beautifying our campus for the return of our beloved students. Interested volunteers can bring their favorite lawn care tools to the front of the school on Saturday, August 28 between 9 and 12.

Whitman Elementary School: We will have a variety of outdoor tasks needing attention with a focus on beautifying our campus for the return of our beloved students. Interested volunteers, please note that we have plenty of lawn care tools for you to use, but feel free to bring your own! Please follow signs to the back of the school near the garden area on Saturday, August 28 between 9-12. Please be sure to wear a mask and maintain social distance. We are so grateful and excited to see everyone!

Woodmere Elementary School: We will have a variety of outdoor tasks including weeding, painting, minor repairs, and more. Some tools provided, but bring your own if you can. Please wear a mask and practice safe social distancing. We will be working a little longer, going until 1PM. We look forward to seeing our community come together to care for our school!
