Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) has been sending Brentwood-Darlington lots of street improvements that mean more safety for our residents, especially our kids!
Some projects include the 45th Avenue repave, a pedestrian crossing with refuge at SE 52nd and Knapp, left-turn guiders at SE 52nd and Flavel Street that slow traffic, a fully-marked crossing at SE 74th Avenue and Duke Street close to Woodmere Elementary, and (just outside B-D) a pedestrian crossing with refuge at SE46th at Henry Street (for students of Lewis Elementary). And now we have big white zebra stripes painted all around the intersection at SE 72nd and Duke Street. Thank you, PBOT!
