Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) Training August 10, 17, and 24, 2019

Neighborhood Emergency Teams (NETs) are Portland residents trained by PBEM and Portland Fire & Rescue to provide emergency disaster assistance within their own neighborhoods. NET members are trained to save lives and property until professional responders can arrive. These volunteers are specially trained to help others without putting themselves in harm’s way.

Are you ready to join the Brentwood-Darlington NET?

There are open spots in the next NET training class over three Saturdays (+ a half-day Final Field Exercise). Here’s how to sign up:

  • STEP 1: Complete the NET registration form.
  • STEP 2: Complete the Online Preparedness Training. Once you have finished watching the videos, take a brief quiz (click on “Registration”). Passing the quiz is a prerequisite for the Basic NET training class.
  • STEP 3: Click here to register for the upcoming classes. The three-day course will be August 10, 17, and 24. If you cannot participate all three days, you may make up missed units in a future cohort.
