The Master Gardeners at the Demonstration Garden are announcing a new class on Plant Propagation open to both Master Gardeners and the public held on Saturday, April 1st, 9:00AM-12:30PM, and repeated on Saturday, April 15that the same time. The class will be held at Greenhouse #5 (southern-most) at the Learning Gardens Lab.

This class is “hands on”. You’ll learn about, and try your hand at cuttings, layering, division, suckering, offsets, grapes, fruit tree grafting, and even seeds! The classes will be limited to 24 students and will divide into four groups to visit four stations on different topics.  To register, send an email with the subject, “Propagation Class”.  You will receive an email response letting you know are accepted and specifying any things you should bring with you. You will also receive a response if the classes are full.  We look forward to seeing you in class. We will be gardening, so expect to get your hands dirty!
