Announcing a Proposed New Garden and a Community Meeting

A new garden will soon be constructed at the north end of the Learning Gardens site, just east of the existing orchard. The Multnomah Master Gardener Demonstration Garden will be used two mornings a week and occasionally for daytime classes and workshops. The public will be encouraged to enroll in these classes. Gardeners and students will park on the east side of 57th Avenue where a proposed new pedestrian-only entrance will be opened. A proposed vehicle-only entrance will be opened on 58th Avenue for pickup and delivery only (no on-site parking). A greenhouse, approximately 30’ x 40’, will be constructed on the site. All existing trees will be preserved.
