Hazeltine Park, located at 5416 SE Flavel Drive, is named in honor of longtime neighborhood resident Dick Hazeltine.  Hazeltine is considered by many as a “founder” of the Brentwood Darlington neighborhood.

This park is a result of the community’s persistence. Brentwood Darlington Neighborhood Association’s (BDNA) steady commitment over several years helped create a park on the 1.02 acre site that was previously abandoned, attracting crime and trash. BDNA board members and neighbors acquired the lot from Multnomah County in 1999 and transformed it into the beautiful green space the community enjoys today.

Amenities include lots of green space and a horseshoe pit. The park is open from 5:00AM-Midnight.
