Below are the preliminary plans, as presented to the Errol Heights Park Citizen Advisory Committee. Want to know more or ask about these plans? Come to the BDNA All-Committees meeting on Tuesday, August 21, 7:00-9:00PM, at the Brentwood-Darlington Community Center (7211 SE 62nd Ave, 97206) and talk to the Portland Parks and Recreation project staff in person! Join the Errol Heights Park Community Advisory Committee at their second meeting on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, 6:30-9:30PM at Smile Station in Sellwood.
At this meeting, landscape design consultants will use the expertise and knowledge of the committee to refine plans to compliment everyday use of the site. Additionally, the committee members will walk through a group exercise to explore site layout and types of park activities. Using mapped information and the Master Plan, the land scape design consultants will then develop design concept(s) to be reviewed by PP&R, the advisory committee members, and the general public at an upcoming open house in the fall.
The playground at Harney Park, SE 67th Avenue and Harney Street, will be closed for use this Friday, May 11, for geotechnical work. This work will inform the design work for drainage improvements at this playground. Construction for these improvements will occur in summer – fall 2019. The nearest playground for use during this closure is Flavel Park at SE 75th Avenue and Flavel Street.
