July 29th, 6:30-8:30pm at Brentwood Park

Join us for our first Summer Free For All Concert in the Park in Brentwood-Darlington!  We’ll be enjoying the sultry and soulful R&B sounds of Donna Jones and the Delegation at Brentwood Park while feasting on both sweet and savory items (available for purchase from on-site food vendors).  This all ages event is free for everyone to attend! 

Please note that Soak-It-Week blue buckets will be available for pickup from BDNA at this event.

While you’re at the concert… Visit the Multnomah County Master Gardeners’ Demonstration Garden ‘Ask a Master Gardener’ booth, get your gardening questions answered, bring home free educational materials and pick up directions for fun and interesting garden projects for all ages.

Spooky Fun at the Moose Lodge with Vibe of PDX

Join our neighbors at the Moose Lodge on 52nd Ave for two days of spooky fun this weekend!

On Saturday, October 30th, 10:00am-12:00pm, you can work alongside VIBE of PDX artists to create a Halloween scene everyone will enjoy at the Lodge’s Annual Halloween Celebration, October 31st, 5:00-8:00pm.

Saturday only, there will be local superhero cosplayers on hand for free photos including: Captain Marvel, Incredible Hulk, Wolverine, Captain America, and Harley Quinn!

Spooktacular and Trunk-or-Treat 2019!

UPDATE! The PDX Avengers will be joining us for Spooktacular!  

Join us for our annual Spooktacular and Trunk-or-Treat event!  FREE, family-friendly festivities run from 4:00-7:00PM on October 26th at Brentwood-Darlington Community Center (7211 SE 62nd Ave, 97206). Shop the free costume closet, visit the decorated trunks, and play fun games! Bring food to share if you are able. Allergy friendly (non-food) treats available at this event! BOTANICAL ECO-DYEING, April 28, 9:00AM – 4:00PM Textile artist Anna Zell will lead you step-by-step through the eco-printing process and you’ll take home your own eco-printed silk noil and either crepe de chine or charmeuse silk scarf. Please join us for the inaugural Lilla literary event on the East Terrace to hear from these six acclaimed Portland authors: Justin Hocking, Apricot Irving, Keetje Kuipers, Nastashia Minto, Liz Prato, and Liz Scott. $10 suggested donation at the door.

Spooktacular and Trunk-or-Treat TODAY!

It’s today!! October 27th, 3:00-5:00PM at the Brentwood-Darlington Community Center parking lot (7211 SE 62nd Ave, 97206).  Who will take home the coveted Trunk-or-Treat Trophy?  We will have non-food treats available for those with allergies.  Children under 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian!

Don’t forget to bring gently used costumes and dress-up pieces for our free costume exchange. We will also be gathering non-food items for the Lane Middle School Food Pantry.  See the list below and donate if you can!

Join us for our annual National Night Out Event TODAY, August 4th, 3:00-7:00PM.  Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood Association will be grilling up hot dogs (beef, turkey, and veggie) with all the fixings, so bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share and join the neighborhood fun!  This FREE family-friendly event is designed to encourage neighbors to get to know each other. Live music (local band: Babylon Star Destroyer), delicious food, fun for the kids, and hanging with your awesome neighbors make this a must attend summer event!
Please note: Childcare not provided! Children under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult!
