Despite the cancellation of their annual Orange Egg Drop in Brentwood Park, due to COVID-19, Hope City Church donated $1,500 to Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood Association (BDNA)!
Four years ago, Hope City Church began offering a voluntary donation ticket for the Egg Drop and has since raised thousands of dollars for BDNA. We look forward to partnering with them on this event again next year. Click here to find out more about virtual services at Hope City Church.
(This generous contribution would normally go towards free community events and neighborhood improvements. At this time, BDNA is brainstorming ways to put these funds towards relief efforts in the neighborhood.)
Wood chips are being delivered to the Brentwood Park Dog Off Leash Area October 2nd. Wheelbarrows and pitchforks will be available on Sunday, October 6, 2019, at 10:00AM. Join your neighbors and help spread the bark at Brentwood Dog Park! Gloves and water bottles recommended.
The leak causing the large wet spot at Brentwood Park Dog Off Leash Area (DOLA) has been fixed according to Portland Parks and Recreation staff as of August 27th, 2019. Interested in making improvements at Brentwood DOLA? Contact us and we’ll pass your suggestions along!
